Inspirational and Informative!

In heartfelt essays, eighteen women share some of the challenges of living with Turner Syndrome as well as their personal triumphs. I found the reflections on the meaning of femininity and womanhood thought provoking and the overwhelmingly positive outlook uplifting. I highly recommend this informative and inspirational book!

Worth experiencing!

It is not my habit to review books, but after reading Standing Tall With Turner Syndrome I am inspired to write. Yes, this book gives clear and concise information about Turner's Syndrome for girls and women who have Turner Syndrome, their families, and fills in gaps for health care professionals. Yet the surprise theme that stood out was the universal struggle of being different and the joy of getting support. The power of the essays build and I came away with inspiration and deep appreciation of embracing the depth and layered understanding that comes with confronting challenges. There are so many quotable jewels of wisdom in each essay, but I will choose one that struck me. "Just because you are having a slightly low point in your life, it does not mean it isn't worth experiencing."
